SPECIAL PROGRAM FOR NIGERIAN WOMEN AND YOUTHS IN BUSINESS, ABIA STATE TOT MARKET STUDY TOUR AND TRAINING TO THE USA, NORTH CAROLINA
THEME: LOCAL TO GLOBAL MICRO-ENTERPRISE INSTITUTE (L2G)
GEMAEXPO OF THE UNIFYING NIGERIA PROJECT - Strategic Planning Support and Collaborative Training Meetings.
GOAL: The goal of the Delegation's visit, US Market Study and Training Tours to North Carolina and New Yourk, is designed to expose the selected Entrepreneurs to global export market trends and to build their capacity to develop and produce exportable indigenous, cultural and ethnic products, Hand-made's and handicrafts that will access global trade and export market opportunities in Europe, Middle East and the North American Markets through the AGOA window.
SUSTAINABILITY: At the end of their trainings, they will be required to transfer same skills and knowledge to other members of their producing communities in their localities for sustainability, through organized training facilitations for artisan resource development at the Michael Okpara University Umudike and Women Development/Skills Acquisition Centre Umuahia, Abia State, South East Nigeria.
